Gladiator Boxers Win Titles

Following its U.S. Amateur Boxing event several weeks ago, several of Gladiator Gym's boxers captured titles in the Junior Olympic Tournament at New Brunswick Boxing Gym last weekend.

While 13-year-old Lacey resident Robert McCarthy captured the crown in the super heavyweight division, another Lacey resident, 9-year-old Liam Muzyka, won the 65-pound title, and Manahawkin's Joey Bockin, 11, won the 105-pound championship.

During a recent Brick PAL Amateur Boxing competition, 13-year-old Waretown resident Rocco Selibene earned a victory in a 90-pound contest.

Team Gladiator's boxers now are preparing for the upcoming Junior National Boxing Tournament in Georgia , which is slated for June 23.
