CLUB Phone/Fax: (808) 879 - 9117 My name is Johnny Jackson. I am the trainer for Bang-Bang's Kihei Boxing Club in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. A nonprofit organization through USA Boxing. We use the sport of boxing to give the youth of Maui a chance to excel and make positive changes in their lives. Boxing gives them self-esteem, self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Bang - Bang's Kihei Boxing Club is the sports club for
Bang Bang Enterprises. In bringing these events, functions and having a Youth Center on Maui, we aim to give the youth of Maui an opportunity to gain important skills and use their talents to build self - esteem, seek out positive role models and gain life skills. We also aim to increase exposure by bringing World Class events to Maui and the State of Hawaii. Hosting these events and functions will show the youth of Maui that they are important and giving them a sense of civic pride as they will have the opportunity to be part of these events and learn to come together and take pride in their accomplishments. Bang - Bang's Kihei Boxing Club was founded in 1998 in Honolulu , Hawaii by Johnny " Bang - Bang " Jackson. Johnny is a former World - Rated professional boxer. He noticed that many of the youth in Hawaii had so much talent and no where to showcase it. By using the sport of boxing the youth of Hawaii have gained important life skills. Many of their accomplishments have not just been in the sport of boxing. Many have graduated from high school, gotten their GED, joined the military, gone on to college etc. Of course boxing played an important part. It gave them self-esteem, discipline, and a sense of self-worth. Bang - Bang's Kihei Boxing Club offers boxing, computer skills training, mentoring, tutoring, physical fitness and a place to just kick back. You can watch fights, do physical fitness and have a sense of belonging. All ages are welcome. Adults can also train, exercise, watch themselves and or children develop. Bang - Bang's Boxing Club is staffed by Johnny Jackson and Debra Duquette a Registered Nurse who can provide a program of overall well being.
