Headbangers Boxing Team Headbangers Boxing Team We offer youths the opportunity to excel in something positive Keely's District Boxing and Youth Center We offer boxing training and to young people ages 8-18 and provide educational programs. We are a non-profit organization and offer training to participants under the age of 18 at no cost. Midtown Youth Academy Eugene Hughes, the owner, has owned the gym and been a community activist and respected trainer for over 30 years. He promotes an atmosphere of respect and unity and mentorship, something important for many of the young kids that seek the gym out as a refuge from the challenges of urban living. He also trains men and women, amateurs and professionals, and has long-standing ties to the boxing community. He is a fixture in the Washington, D.C. area. The gym is old and worn, but clean and safe. Nomis Boxing Community Center Same location as Legendary, "Finley's" Gym. Third Power Fitness Offers private boxing instruction and group instruction. Work with mits, heavy bags, speed bag, double end bag and conditioning through sparring and other techniques. Prices available upon request.
