Antony Stammboulieh the Head Coach is a level 3 coach
working towards his levels 4 and 5 NCCP certification.

brings a boxing background that began in a schoolboy
boxing
programme and evolved in amateur boxing over several
years.
The club started in 2007 and has produced success in
competition both with male and female fighters. In 2008
Antony was appointed Thompson-Okanagan Head Coach
by Boxing BC for the Winter Games where two fighters
won Gold. In the same year Derrick Larson won Gold at
the Golden Gloves as well as the best boxer in his
division
and Elijah McDermott was runner -up in his division.

The Kelowna Boxing club is the largest club for members
in the province of British Columbia. It has produced
World
and National champions not to mention provincal
champions
on an annual basis. Coach David Habib has been involved
with the club for about 28 years as a competitor as well
as
a Coach. He has been a provincial team coach for several
years.
Jon Agar who has competed at the International level as well
a
National and provincial Champion Several times is also
assisting
in coaching. Billy Agar became a world Champion in 1998
as
well as a national and provincial Champion several times
is
assisting as a coach. John Cambpell and A.J. Hazzi are
also
assisting on a coaching level. We are home to many
female
Athletes Gillian Dollar Baby Ryckman and Kelsey Firefly
Fleming who also assist in coaching. The Kelowna boxing
club
trains about 150 hockey players a year from the NHL to
the
minor leagues.

Lights-Out Boxing Club features training for amateur
boxing
ages 13-25, Several provincial champions have come out of
this
gym in the last few years. Also we have cross traing for
hockey
players in the spring and summer, plus hockey teams in the
fall
and winter. We have a large facility complete with two
boxing rings,
heavy bags, speed bags, tread mills, over a hundred
different weight
machines, plus a full service lounge and restaraunt.
Facilitie is open
24 hrs a day seven days a week. Boxing training is during
the
evenings and sunday afternoon. Very reasonable rates.
